My antivirus flagged or deleted FPH — is it a virus?

No, FPH is not a virus. Antivirus software commonly flags game bots as malicious because they use the same techniques legitimate bots rely on — simulating keystrokes, reading process memory, and injecting inputs into a running game. These behaviors look identical to malware from the AV's perspective, even when the tool is completely safe.

This is called a false positive. It does not mean the file is harmful — it means the AV heuristic matched a behavioral pattern, not an actual threat signature.

1
Windows Defender — Add an exclusion: Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions. Add the entire FPH folder as a folder exclusion.
2
Restore a quarantined file: In Windows Security go to Protection history, find the quarantined FPH file, and click Allow. Then add the folder exclusion (step 1) before re-downloading.
3
Third-party AV (Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc.): Open your AV dashboard → Quarantine or Threat History → restore the file, then add the FPH folder to your AV's exceptions / whitelist. The exact menu name varies by product.
4
Re-download after adding the exclusion — if the file was already deleted, add the folder exclusion first, then download FPH again so it isn't removed on arrival.
Always download FPH only from the official website or the link provided in the FPH Discord. If you got it from somewhere else, that file may actually be unsafe.
AV keeps deleting FPH even after I restore it

The exclusion must be added before the file lands in the folder — otherwise the AV will scan and remove it again on the next write.

1
Delete any leftover FPH files from the folder.
2
Add the FPH folder to your AV exclusions / whitelist first (before downloading anything).
3
Download FPH again — the exclusion is now in place so the AV will not scan files written to that folder.
4
If using Windows Defender, also check Controlled Folder Access — if enabled, it may still block FPH from writing to protected directories. Disable it or add FPH as an allowed app.
Some aggressive AV products ignore exclusions for files they've already flagged. In that case, fully uninstall the AV, re-download FPH, then reinstall the AV and add the exclusion before it rescans.
Windows SmartScreen says "Windows protected your PC"

SmartScreen blocks executables that don't have a widely-trusted code signing certificate. This is expected for private tools like FPH and is not an indication of malware.

1
When the SmartScreen popup appears, click More info.
2
Click Run anyway to proceed.
Only do this if you downloaded FPH from the official source. Never bypass SmartScreen for files from unknown links.
FPH won't open / nothing happens when I double-click
1
Right-click Updater.exeRun as administrator.
2
Make sure your antivirus hasn't quarantined the file. Add the FPH folder to your AV exclusions, then re-download.
3
Confirm the folder path contains no special characters or spaces (e.g. use C:\Games\FPH not C:\My Folder (1)\FPH).
4
Install the latest Visual C++ Redistributable and .NET Runtime from Microsoft's website, then try again.
Invalid license key / key not accepted
1
Copy-paste the key directly — do not type it manually, as look-alike characters (0 vs O, l vs 1) cause failures.
2
Check that you purchased a key for the correct server. Keys are server-specific.
3
If the key was already used, open a ticket on Discord with your purchase receipt.
Updater keeps downloading / stuck in update loop
1
Close the Updater and delete the FPH.exe file (not the Updater itself), then re-open Updater.exe to re-download cleanly.
2
Make sure your antivirus isn't deleting the downloaded file mid-transfer. Temporarily disable real-time protection and try again.
3
Ensure the folder has write permissions. Avoid placing FPH in Program Files or other protected directories.
Bot is not attacking / character is standing still
1
Confirm the bot is enabled — check the Start button state in FPH.
2
Make sure your character is in the correct map and the selected monster exists nearby.
3
Check that the game window is not minimized. The bot requires the game to be visible (not minimized to tray).
4
Verify your skill keybinds in the bot match those set in-game.
Bot freezes or stops after a few minutes
1
Lower the game's resolution or graphics settings — high GPU usage can cause timing issues.
2
Disable Windows Game Mode and Game Bar in Windows Settings, as these interfere with input simulation.
3
Check if your character died or was disconnected — the bot will stop if the game session ends.
If the freeze happens consistently at the same time, check for a daily reconnect or kick timer on the server.
Character gets stuck while following waypoints
1
Re-record the waypoint path and avoid placing points inside walls, near ledges, or through narrow corridors.
2
Add more waypoints in areas where the character tends to get stuck — shorter segments are more accurate.
3
Enable Stuck Detection in the waypoint settings if available — it will auto-unstick the character.
Awakebot not stopping when stats are met
1
Double-check your stat conditions — ensure the stat name and minimum value exactly match what the game shows.
2
Make sure the correct item slot is selected in the Awakebot config.
3
Try running the game at the recommended resolution — screen reading accuracy depends on consistent UI scaling.
FPH says "Unable to connect" or "Server unavailable"
1
Check the server status on the FPH website or Discord — the server may be under maintenance.
2
Temporarily disable your firewall or add FPH as an exception, then try again.
3
Try using a VPN if your ISP may be blocking the connection, or try a different network (e.g. mobile hotspot).
If others can connect fine, the issue is likely local — check your firewall and DNS settings.
Getting disconnected frequently while botting
1
Some private servers kick AFK players — enable the Anti-AFK feature in FPH to prevent this.
2
Check your internet stability — packet loss or fluctuating ping will cause disconnects during botting.
3
Reduce the bot's action speed if it's sending inputs too fast, which can trigger server-side rate limiting.
Discord webhook notifications not arriving
1
Verify the webhook URL is correct and hasn't expired — regenerate it in Discord if needed.
2
Make sure the webhook channel still exists and the bot has permission to post in it.
3
Check FPH's webhook settings — ensure notifications are enabled for the events you expect.
